Terms of Service

Last updated: August 4, 2026

1. General

BlackSec Academy ("the Platform", "we") is an educational service that teaches cybersecurity through hands-on practice. By registering for or using the Platform, you fully accept these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Account

Registration requires a valid email address and a unique username. You are responsible for keeping your account (password, session) confidential and for all activity under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. Users under 18 are encouraged to register with parental or guardian consent.

3. Acceptable use

All techniques taught on the Platform (scanning, exploitation, password attacks, etc.) may ONLY be used in the Platform's own labs, CTF environments, or systems you have explicit written authorization to test.

Unauthorized access to, or attacks against, third-party individuals, organizations, or systems is strictly prohibited. Such conduct may result in criminal liability under applicable law, and the Platform bears no responsibility in such cases — liability rests entirely with the user.

Attempting unauthorized access to the Platform's own infrastructure, disrupting the service, or harming other users will result in immediate and permanent account suspension.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Some learning paths and features require a paid subscription. Plans and pricing are listed on the /pricing page and may change with prior notice.

Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise. For questions, contact us through the Support section.

5. Intellectual property

All content on the Platform (lessons, video, text, code samples, design) belongs to BlackSec Academy or its licensors. Commercial copying, redistribution, or public republishing of content is prohibited.

6. Account suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or delete, without prior notice, any account that violates these Terms, engages in unlawful activity, or endangers other users.

7. Limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that educational content will always be error-free or uninterrupted. We are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the Platform, to the extent permitted by law.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
